Stories

Team Story

A group of our Preschool aged swimmers, all enjoying their swimming lessons.  We work hard to achieve skills, but at the same time have a caring, nurturing approach to keep the kids loving the water.

Sabrina’s Story

Sabrina loves the water and she is happy to paddle her arms and kick her legs with the help of her teacher.  She has now started blowing my bubbles, just for a few seconds.  She looks over to her Mum to check she is watching.  Sabrina feels so proud of herself.

Noah’s Story

Noah loves to float on his back.  His body just relaxes fully as if he is drifting off to sleep. He fully trusts his teacher to hold and support him even though he is only 3 years old.  He has started his love of water.

Teacher’s Story

getting started with narelle

I put my Instructor’s shirt on, gather my equipment and enter the water.  I ask my students to come and sit on the bench inside the water.  We all say hello and remind ourselves of the skills we are going to be working on this lesson.  My four students are now engaged with me and we set to work.  At the end of the lesson, we all ‘High Five’ and say ‘goodbye’.   I smile as I remind myself of how lucky I am to be a swim teacher.
